Water Town Women’s Costume Museum, located in the Cultural Park of the southern Yangtze River, exhibits the distinct charm of Water Town Women’s Costume in terms of the interactive design and live performance, and introduces the Water Town Women’s Costume in such ways as text, pictures, objects, and other systematic categories.

    On May 20th, 2006, Luzhi Water Town Women's Costume was approved by the State Council and announced to be the first batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage. Suzhou Luzhi Water Town Women's Costume is the product of the water rice agriculture periods of Wu region for thousands of years, and the outstanding representative of the Han nationality’s dress of China.
