Shen House, a well-preserved luxury mansion in Luzhi Town, is the former residence of Mr. Baihan Shen, a member of Tung Meng Hui and an educator of Luzhi. It’s located in the “Western Huixiao City”, one of the eight Fuli scenic spots. The building layout seems like official but also commercial, and mixes the characteristics of such aspects as the front shop, the rear house, the left lane, and the right workshop.

　 　 Bohan Shen, a Luzhi man, lost his father at the age of seven and was brought up by his mother. He went to Japan and received education in the Department of Education at Waseda University at the age of 21. In Japan, he learned new knowledge, received new ideas, and broaden his versions. As he returned to Luzhi, Shen changed the Fuli Institution into the Fuli Primary School, and was engaged in the career of education. Shen House consists of dry wall-door, ceremonial hall, lobby, Leshan Tang, studying room, balcony, etc., and forms a typical Suzhou-style ancient building. A number of TV series such as the "Dream of Red Mansions", "Fortress Besieged", "Sprinkling Worldwide is Love", and the movie of "Rose Vortex", were all shot on location in Shen House.

　 　 There are two old wells inside the residence: One is located in the courtyard in front of the Leshan Tang, over which there is Wukang Shijing Ring, reported as the well of the Song Dynasty; The other is in the eastern corner of the Jieshi in front of the balcony, described as the well of the Ming Dynasty.
