There was Wu Hill in the south of Shangfang Mountain of Suzhou. Lying in the neighbourhood of Wu Hill was a small village, called Apricot Village, in which there were an old well, a couple of trees, and a few families, few known by the outsiders. However, a well-known figure, honoured as “Statue Sage”, Huizhi Yang came from this village in the Kaiyuan years of the Tang Dynasty.

So far, the Luzhi Baosheng Temple, still maintaining the Arhat of Huizhi Yang, has been nationally renowned for its historical monuments.
